Strictly halogen free, these cables are also fire retardant, low smoke fume and are recommanded for mobile links between car or car-bogies (jumpers).
A 105°C conductor temperature is allowed for a 20 000 hours cumulative working time.
They can also be used for general power applications.

Characteristics
To meet hard conditions in rolling stock application; materials must have good mechanical properties, good resistance to ozone, IRM 902 mineral oil, acids and alkalis.
In NF F 16101 standard, these rolling stock cables are classified:
- Fire performance : class C
The burnt length must be lower than 300 mm after NF C 32070 n°2 test
- Smoke emission : class F0 means IF<5 .
