Applications

These power and control cables are used for electricity supply in low voltage installation system. They are well adapted to underground use in industrial applications with an additional mechanical protection, where hydrocarbons may be present. These cables can be fixed on cable trays, within conduits or fixed to walls.

Design

 

Conductor: Plain or stranded bare copper

Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linded polyethylene)

Sheath or tape: optional

Outer sheath: PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) Colour : black

 

Core indentification

2 to 5 cores: according to HD 308 S2

> 5 cores: printed numbers

> 5G cores: printed numbers + green/yellow core

 

Marking

U-1000 R2V RH n (x or G) S mm² NF - USE 279 + metric marking

  • n = number of cores
  • x = without Green-Yellow core
  • G = with Green-Yellow core
  • S = cross-section in mm²
