NF C 33-210 cables with or without control wires
Standards
National  NF C 33-210
Description

Service connection single phase and three phase cables with or without control wires

Application

Low voltage buried cables for connection public networks.

Characteristics

The three phase conductors are made of either circular solid or stranded aluminum.

The neutral conductor made of solidor stranded aluminum is circular and sheathed with lead.

The watertightness between the lead sheath is made with a waterproof material only on single phase cables. On three-phase cables it can be made on demand.

Stranding

The phase conductors and neutral are assembled in a way, which makes them easy to separate to splice with branching wires.

Over the phase and neutral conductors, a galvanized steel armour is wound in direct contact with the lead sheath. This construction is then sheathed with PVC, with high mechanical properties.

Filler : PVC for single phase cable except 50 mm2 and three phase cable 16 mm2.

Sheath : on demand, antitermite treatment possible on demand.

Marking

  • without control wires:

H1 XDV-AU NxS1 + 1xS2 MINIDISTRICABLE® 211 NF C 33-210 «manufacturing number/manufacturing year» «metric marks/manufacturing date».

  • with control wires:

H1 XDV-AU NxS1 + 1xS2 + 2x1.5 Cu MINIDISTRICABLE® 211 NF C33-210 «manufacturing number/manufacturing year» «metric marking/manufacturing date».

  • N : number of phase conductors,
  • S1 : cross section of phase conductors,
  • S2 : cross section of neutral conductor.

Control wires marking

  • Wire 1 : continuous ink line
  • Wire 2 : nothing

Electrical characteristics

Rated Voltage : 0.6/1 kV.

Test Voltage : 3.5 kV for 15 minutes.

Resistance of the sheath to voltage surges : 1.2/50 µs with positive or negative polarity and a peak value of 20 kV.
