FMKHC-F 150/250V Halogen Free, Fire Resistant Communication Cables with screen (amour) 150/250 V
Standards
International  IEC 60092-351; IEC 60092-359; IEC 60092-375; IEC 60332-3-22; IEC 60754-1; IEC 60754-2; IEC 61034
Description

Applications

For fixed installations in communication, radio, control and data processing facilities on ships and offshore units in all locations and on open decks, in safety circuits where fire resistance is required.

The cables meet the flame test requirements for bunched cables acc.to IEC 60332-3 and IEEE 45-18.13, and perform to the SOLAS requirements.

All cables materials are free of halogens. No off-splitting of corrosive gases occurs in case of fire. The off-splitting of toxic gases is minimized. Therefore, these cables are especially suitable for the installation on passenger ships.

Design

  1. Conductor: stranded bare copper (7 wires) class 2
  2. Insulation: mica tape + XLPE
  3. Laying up: pair stranding (2 pair cable = quad stranding)
  4. Armouring: separator tape, bare copper braid, separator tape (optional)
  5. Outer sheath: polyolefin, orange

Marking

e.g.: l NEXANS l FMKHC 250 V 90°C IEC 60092-375 IEC 60332-3-22 IEC 60331 HALOGENFREE 19x2x0,75 mm2 + Metric Marking

Core Identification

Colour of each pair: black-blue
The cores or each pair are printed with same numbers, starting in centre with number 1
2 pair cable (quad):
black / brown / blue / grey
